Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are dogs of fabulous character and beauty. Some of the main features of the breed are a sweet, gentle, melting expression on the face with large round eyes, as well as a silky, richly colored coat that does not need to be trimmed.

They may seem like complete aristocrats, but in reality, their character is very down-to-earth and humble. They are happy to forget their royalty to enjoy life with children, other dogs, butterflies or squirrels.
They are friendly to people and other animals, fearless, and playful. A special distinction from other small dog breeds is that Cavaliers are quiet dogs that bark very little. They are small dogs with the character of a large dog.

They are not housekeepers – anyone who walks through the door will be lovingly “kissed.” They are patient and affectionate with children.

This is one of the easiest dog breeds to train, very popular with agility enthusiasts. They also like to solve intellectual tasks, and when traveling to dog school, their joy overflows from the edges. This is a fairly athletic dog, with a deep-rooted hunting instinct, loves to catch birds and butterflies, as well as keep company with its owner when running. Small, but with a strong physique.

They get along well with children and other dogs, adapt to their owner's active or passive lifestyle, and can be fun athletes or shameless couch lovers.

Due to their special temperament, pleasant character, and easy care, Cavaliers are a rapidly growing breed around the world.
